What is HomeChoice?
HomeChoice is the unique entertainment and Internet package in one. It combines broadcast TV with exclusive on-demand movies and TV programmes (including comedy, drama, music and documentary channels, as well as a huge range of pay-per-rental movies) and a broadband Internet service with a choice of 1Mb, 2Mb and 4Mb connection speeds. Can I get the HomeChoice service?
To get HomeChoice you need to have a BT phone line. HomeChoice access is also subject to local availability and capacity levels. We are unable to deliver HomeChoice access on a phone line that has any of the following services:ISDN, Home Highway, Business Highway, 30k loop, private circuits, Red ABC, RedCare (BT burglar alarm system), Featurenet5000, other broadband XDSL services or a meterpulse facility.

Will HomeChoice affect my phone service?
HomeChoice will allow you to be online and use your phone at the same time, without having to install a separate phone line or change your phone number. Special 'filters' are plugged into your normal phone socket to allow you to use your phone and be online at the same time.

As long as the phone line is in your name, you don't need any permission.

Does an engineer need to visit my home?
Yes, a HomeChoice engineer will need to visit your home to install the set-top box. You will be able to choose the time and date that the engineer visits, so that it is convenient for you. Once the engineer has installed the HomeChoice set-top box, and your TV services are up and running, you will be able to enjoy HomeChoice.
